Several questions about this game.

I am totally new to this game, and just started today.
Since there are no manuals or guides at this time, I have a few questions for those who are more famiiar with the games.

1. What is in the treasure chests?
Several of the beginning scenarios have treasure chests that we can open. When we open it, some items pop up, but there is no description. So, what did we actually get? I dont see any inventory in this game where we can equip stuffs, so do we just get more gold or some xp? (as the game does not say). I want to know if it is worthwhile to open those chests which are usually at some far corners.

2. When is an optimum time to change classes.
At the start, there is a forest where I can grind my characters to level 10 and beyond (even though it says 7-10). So, what level should we change classes? I guess each time we change classes, we just get an extra skill, so would it be advisable to keep changing classes till we get all the skills, and then focus on the final 4-star classes after that.

It's a fun game, but wish there were people to talk to, or guides. Seems that only Chinese FAQ are available on internet, and I havent found any English FAQ or walkthrough. If anyone knows, please let me know too. Thanks.

Two kinds of items may pop up ,when opening the treasure chests.One is the gold,and the other is tales of angels.There will be only one kind of thing in each chest,either is the gold or the tales. We need gold each time when we change classes .We also need tales of angels to get every angel's biography.I think It is not necessary to open treasure chests,since we can get the gold by accomplishing the mission.However, some missions' S rank requirement is to open the treasure chests.That is to say we are forced to open it ,or we cannot get the highest ranking S in each mission .Forgive my poor english.By the way,every time when we get the S ,we can also get tales of angels without opening the chests.

Thank you very much. Your English is not poor, as I understand what you are trying to say, and you have also answered my question about the chest too. I was wondering where all those "Tales of Someperson" comes from... now I know its from the chests, which means I can always grind Forest to get all 4 tales for each person, right?

For your second question,i think the forest(level 10) can't give us the "merits'' which is the thing we need to change classes.So,we cannot just complete the mission of the forest(level 10 ) and get the skills.

Great! I was wondering about chests too~ I just begin playing the game. In order to get S rank, usually we need to clear it before turn 8. But chests are near the end of the map and I can't reach it before turn 8. So I was struggling to decide which to get. It's good to know S rank will get the chest content too! Thank~

I know this is going to sound really strange but I am getting lots of tales without opening chests or getting S rank.

I am grinding those low level repeatable forest with chests. Sometimes, I did badly and even got a B rank (lots of teammates died) but as long as I finished the forest (have to satisfy at least 1 victory conidition), I will get the Tales without opening any chests.

I already got 3 achievements for Tales this way. Try it!!

Do the enemies get a bonus when attacking the side of our characters? Are there bonuses for attacking the side / flank of an enemy? The game makes a point of changing facing.

I didn't miss anything about hotkeys (shortcuts) for character attacks or abilities on the actoin ring, did I? I'd love to be able to hit a number key for an attack and click on the enemy.

Not sure about flanks, but attacks from back are sometimes stronger, for both enemies and allies.
