FIX v.2.0
==================================

I just figured out a easier way to fix it!

After some tests I realized that line on the config file that I mention before (Fullscreen=0) it's about the option "In Window", controlled in in-game menu (Video Options).

Just turn it Off and it'll solve the problem. There is no need to change directly in file.

P.S. there's no negative effect doing this and it does not make difference in the experience in-game. The same can be applied in Monster Energy Supercross The Official Videogame.

In-Window helps it but not always, untill you Alt+tab out to check something and it throws it back to flickering pink an green even out of the gaming then having to restart the pc to get it back to normal :steamsad: such a waste I did enjoy this as i ride mx but now I won't be buying anymore from this brand if they can't fix this problem

Hey everyone!

You could try a workaround, at least is working for me.

1. In-game options just try to change de resolution - apply - and then change back for the previous one.

OR

2. Changing the resolution in .INI file also solve the problem sometimes (..\AppData\Local\MXGP3\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini).

I still did not figure out what is causing the issue but my guess clearly is about resolution. Hope they find out a definitive solution. I'm still working on that.

P.S. doing the workaround 2 the game could ask eventually if you want to upload local files to the Steam cloud.

Good luck.

Hello again guys! And I come with good news.

I think I've figured out how to solve in, let's say, "definitive way".

Please access you config file (..\AppData\Local\MXGP3\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini) and just delete the line "FullScreenMode=0".

The game will start normally without purple flickering.

P.S. just make sure to set your desired resolution in ALL the respective lines that mention "resolution". Just to ensure, keep the parameters "LastRecommendedScreenWidth" and "LastRecommendedScreenHeight" set to 0.

If the game asks you about upload your local files to the cloud, just choose this option and do not download the cloud file - or all the changes that you made will be overwritten!

Hope it works for you.
Cheers.

I wonder if there's a setting in the ini to where you can remove the 120fps cap?

I don't think so. Well, at least I did not find anything about it. I wonder that maybe this cap is a feature present on the graphic engine, so probably we'll not be able to change that.
The author of this topic has marked a post as the answer to their question.

Just updating, here is a more techical and definitive solution:

I have experienced this issue with a few Unreal Engine games. The fix is to go into your nVidia control panel where you would normally select your resolution and scroll down to "3. Apply the following settings". Switch from "Use default color settings" to "Use NVIDIA color settings", then choose highest (32-bit) and 8 bpc for the top two boxes. Hit apply and it will be fixed.
