I jumped back to my PC at 4k/ solid 60fps (vsynced and I monitor my framerate with MSI Afterburner so I know I don't drop below 60fps) and what a night and day difference! It's like playing a totally difference game! The clarity and smoothness on my PC....Consoles are ♥♥♥♥!
Agreed. MXGP 3 runs flawless on my custom PC @ 4K - 60 FPS! My GPU is an EVGA 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid. I also had MXGP 3 for the PS4 Pro and the graphics and framerate sucked compared to the PC version! I just got rid of the PS4 Pro and picked up a new XBOX One X and ordered MXGP 3 for it (got it on sale @ Gamestop for $20). The game is supposed to be delivered this Friday. I'll post my opinions after trying it out. What sucks about the PC version is there's just not that much online participation. The XBOX One X / MXGP 3 review will help me decide whether or not to get the new Monster Energy Supercross The Game for PC or XBOX One X.
Yea, it's terrible and unplayable on the PS4. The initial PC release was also terrible until some patches came out then it looked and ran flawless. I'm curious how it runs on the Xbox One X. The only real reason I have a PS4 Pro is for exclusives (Horizon Zero Dawn was a pretty good game not availible on the PC and I'm looking forward to some new PS4 exclusives like Detroit: Becoming Human) and this is the reason why I wouldn't buy a Xbox is because last time I checked, most games on the Xbox are also on the PC and I would rather have the PC version 100% of the time so I think the Xbox would be a waste of money for me when I have a much better PC that can play pretty much all the same games. The PS4 does have enough good exclusives to kinda justify owning one and MXGP3 is the only cross platform game I've bought for it.
What I need to do instead of selling off all my old PC hardware to finance my upgrades is just hold onto old parts as I upgrade until I accumulate enough to build an entire second PC for the living room to play on the large 75" screen/home theater system. Actually all I would need to do this right now is get a case, CPU cooler, and videocard and I have the rest of the parts to build a decent PC.
The problem with finding a match online is that there could be people playing and you wont see them because a online game only shows in the list if the race isn't in progress so when the online list is loading you have to be timed just right while someones game is at the bike and track selection screens otherwise you wont see the match at all. But there is so many online games and platforms these days including mobile devices the compitition is tougher than ever and everyone either seems to be into shooting games or I wanna be a wizard, lol.
I hope the new supercross game doesn't suffer the same problems MXGP3 did at release because if you remember it was pretty bad until it got patched but MXGP1 to 3 has been a slow and steady improvement so I'm really looking forward to the new game.
I kept asking them the same about Ride3, in the end they banned me from the Ride facebook page and at the same time amended the post I was moaning about by adding the info about the console enhancments I was asking about in the first place!!!
