Joystick mapping

I'm on ubuntu and can get the game to play splitscreen... but cannot map the fire button on the joystick. The configuration tool doesn't work but the joystick works during the game... only cannot fire. Any hint on how to deal with this? Thanks!

Hello Divergent,

We are sorry but there no Joystick mapping in the game. You can remap only the keyboard.
It seems your joystick doesn't work. Normally the game work with a lot's of joystick. What is your joystick type ? It's recommended to use a Xbox 360 or One controller.

Thanks. It is a playstation 3 joystick and it works fine with all the other buttons, however cannot get the fire button to work. The game is great when played with a keyboard but if I want to play with my daughter (if she wants to play with me! :) )... then only the fire button doesn't work. no problem!
