Disney's The Lion King

Disney's The Lion King

interested, but curious
Oh my gosh! I had this game on PC via DOS when I was 8 and remember how hard it was. Seeing the screenshots is daunting; I never got past the 2nd level with those damn dunking logs! But, I'm curious to know how well this '95 game could run on a modern PC with a Core 17 processor and dual graphics card. Does it require a lot of speed that would heat up the processor? Does it run on par with, say, DOOM 2016? That one runs a bit hot and I have to keep my PC plugged in. Price doesn't bug me, what I'm wondering is is the game worth buying for how it runs on today's gaming PCs? Most of Steam's releases of DOS games (DOOM, Heretic, Hexen, Commander Keen, etc.) run fine on mine with little to no issues.

Here, the game is an emulation with DosBox. Thanks to that, the game is 100% compatible with a modern PC .

Yeah, I bought it through GOG, it seems to run okay except it freezes on the 2nd level. Wonder what that's about.
