Bonus Game Bug: Golden Leaves/Rose

I've placed all the golden leaves and the golden rose onto the statue, but nothing has happened?
I'm fairly certain there is only 3 leaves and 1 rose to get, as I see no other way to progress as of now, and double checking the Strategy Guide seems to also confirm it's only 3 leaves and 1 rose.

I placed them all on the statue, but it won't let me take the axe and I can't take the potion from it's chest either as it hasn't opened. It still says I need to find the missing elements.
