Playing Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb with an Xbox Series Controller

Ok so I boot up the game and I'm trying to use my Xbox Series Controller which I've used on multiple PC games, it doesn't even work with this game that I'm trying to play the game. Are there any other inputs I would use or those controller options that could allow the player to use their Xbox Series Controller?
