Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™

Camera continuously rotating
Hi there, hoping someone can help. I've tried looking this up in other forums but it seems no one else has this issue or it hasn't been answered. As Soon as I gain control of Indy at the beginning of the game, the camera just keeps rotating around and around. All the fixes I've seen a for controls which seem fine, I'd just like some help for the camera to stop spinning if possible? Thanks

Not sure if help is still needed but you might try to set mouse speed to 0 and see if it solves the issue. Basing on my experience, if you play at 60 FPS or higher (as I presume you do), chances are that camera control becomes insanely fast with the slightest mouse movement. Alternatively you might attemp running game under compatibility mode.

Thanks for replying Doktor Headshot. I did try what you suggested but sadly this didn't work. I'm using a PS4 controller with DS4 or InputMapper so I don't know if this is the reason it's playing up? If you know any fixes that'd be great but thanks for your help regardless :)

Oh... So you're using gamepad? Hmm... Sadly I am unable to assist you because I play with mouse and keyboard and I have no experience with gamepad and third-party software to enable them in game.

I might give some tips though.

First, we want to be sure that the cause of conflict arises from gamepad configuration (or perhaps from gamepad itself). Please unplug your gamepad from machine and start the game with normal mouse and keyboard combo: if the game works normally, it means cause of issue is related to gamepad (which is what I do expect).

Then, the fact that camera rotates fast and endlessly makes me think it is something involved with mouse movement or, since we are talking about gamepad, with analog sticks/analog mode. My guess is that there is a problem with analog mode configuration in the softwares you named earlier. Hence you might want to start the game with gamepad plugged and analog mode off to make sure analog mode is causing problem.

Once you find the root cause, you know what you should change in emulation software (remember that we are talking about old videogame which might require trial and error procedure). If you have no clue at all of what settings to change, I might suggest to download a new software for using your gamepad. My suggestion is "Joy2Key" (which allowed me to play classic Dark Forces game with mouse and keyboard as a modern shooter despite the game was not meant to be played like this).
