How do you change the resoultion?

The game defaults to 640x480 and I play in 3840x2160. It messes up the entire screen and crashes. Is there any way in the files to force higher resoultions?

How about dual screen? The fix works well to not mess up the resolution but everytime I tab out it always crashes :(

I have the german version of the game, the patch made the menu english but when I start a new game it crashes.
