MS1 is weird too. As if I'm not mistaken it's Lore-wise supposed to take place AFTER MS2 , so everyone essentially knows how the story will end.

I miss MS1 but Big Bang ruined that for most of us and went heavy pay to win.

to see MS2 though dead already is sad.

MS2 is such a diffrent game man. I personaly (and many people i played MS2 with) never cared about Ms1 to be honest.

To care about MS1 you'd have had to play it when it was the new game to play. I joined it shortly after it had come out of Beta (as that's when me and my friends heard about it). As our first MMO was a game called iROSE (Rush On Seven Episodes, some little korean thing that was fun) as that game's beta was ending (beta was fun) but the main game was gonna be a paid MMO. So we were looking around having the MMO bug in our system when we all found Maple. We leveled so much and grinded so much.

Fond memories of Slime Tree, Jump Quests/Puzzles... taking that boat to Orbis when that was out... when Ludibrium was added and that alien sector at the bottom of the Ludi tower...

There were so many good times in Maple 1 but you had to really be involved from the start.

I tried to get into the Maple 2 beta but it never happened. I leveled fast enough and saw the Fire Dragon thing. But there just wasn't any substance to keep me around. I was waiting for there to be more content but now there won't be. It's sad to see Maple 2 ending. I got out of other mmos like WoW because of Activision rotting Blizzard out, was hoping to see this game get a lot of content so I'd have an MMO worth playing but now there's nothing.
