Once we get an update on this, we'll let you guys know. It's difficult because your payments likely used Steam Wallet, which we have no jurisdiction over.
i bought the legendary founders pack long before launch. and just a year and a half later, its shutting down?
that really hurts you know...
I'd love to be able to refund my founders edition aswell, including any merets brought aswell.

Thank you for contacting Nexon Player Support. I understand you are requesting a refund for purchases you have made in Maplestory 2.
As explained in the Service Closure announcement, purchases made via the Nexon Launcher or through our website between December 11, 2019 12:00 AM PST and March 18, 2020 8:00 AM PDT will be refunded the full price in NX. Our refund policy has been established after careful consideration of various factors, including industry standards, billing processes, and previous Nexon titles. As MapleStory 2 had a Cash Shop Revamp on December 11th, we have provided a longer-than-typical refund window to accommodate those players who purchased any items since the update. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate refund requests for purchases made prior to December 11th, 2019.
Any unspent Merets which may remain on the account can still be used freely. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Hey, so with payments you made (as a Steam player) you quite legitimately have to go through Steam to get the refund. We cannot process Steam Wallet refunds as the publisher. We're currently working with Steam to see if there's a resolution to this. Please be on standby, and if we have good news on it, request the refund through Steam support as seen in the announcement post.
I'll post an announcement on the hub once there's an update!
so will i be able to refund my founders edition and the ingame stuff brought with steam wallet?
My ticket has been manually denied by a Steam Support member. It wasn't an automated response, they said they had reviewed my case and denied it on the basis of a violation of Steam's Refund Policy. They wouldn't state which party of the policy was the reason for denial. From what I read of the article, it's most likely because the premium currency has already been consumed, as they refuse refunds for in-game purchases, "so long as the in-game item has not been consumed, modified or transferred."
I spent no small amount of money on merets since the beginning of March, and I would just really like that money back.
