Imo what we need is a team of people on top of them, since clearly they can't be prevented. The chat restrictions they put in place help, but the bots can level through the main story anyways.
That team could be their staff, of player volunteers, but it needs to happen if no other alternatives present themselves.

PS: nvm, found the video already
PPS: well, from this video at least one person name is shown, who may be somehow involved in this whole bot industry. SOME legal action can be taken and, well, I assume backtracking from there also, but it's again just one head of the multi-headed hydra. It's just one of the multiple sites out there.
A friend request is something we are looking into, we do ban those bots based on the spamming requests automatically, but the problem is once they send the request, the damage is already done.
Finally, those bots in dungeons and leveling up - we are identifying patterns and banning them on daily basis, but they are very fast, and they have evolved from Korea and China - we do have bigger plans, and once we have those in place, we will share more news with the community.
Way to go, buddy.
And most bots add you to groups, spam general or party you, i never see whispers...
