When your in the air you may miss something like a certain magical hat that likes to appear
When your not flying you may miss a certain magical hat further away etc etc just examples
To each their own
ground mounts are usually faster then your normal movement speed. so i dont see NOT a reason they should NOT exist. If i explor areas and dont wanna fight all the time, i use said mounts. its easier to avoid enemys with and faster then switching all time between flying and walking as one sample. i mean by your logic, i would more like to ask why you can fish or make music in this game. if you know what i mean~
Point being, it's really, really not about premium, nor is the thread. The fact, is that it's pretty easy to get flying mounts, and things will always be more efficient when you don't have to account for terrain in your way, nevermind the fact they're just quicker moving in general.
ehm no. with level 60 you get a bull you can ride with is a epic ground mount, which is pretty fast if you run with it.
The Maple Leaf is one of the best horizontal flying mounts, while the Pumpkin Balloon is one of the best vertical ones. However, getting to 60 will give you a purple bull that probably goes faster than the Maple Leaf.
And, as stated, in a "dungeon"-type map you can only use ground mounts.
