Critical Rate Stat

I understand how critical rate works, more crit rate means more crit chance, the hard cap is a 40%. Where do I find my percent chance to crit. Currently I have 224 crit rate, what percent does this translate to. Thanks for the help.

Since stats go up according to level, the rate will constantly change how much crit you have against different levels of enemies. It will also decrease as you level up. Best thing you can do is just test it yourself because the game can't give you a definitive answer since it's an open-ended question.

Based on my parses as a level 60 heavy gunner against Amadon, you divide it by 10. So you currently have 22% crit.

You also have to factor in Luck. It does not affect the Critical Rate stat but does affect your critical chance. Critical evasion is also a stat that subtracts from your own crit rate somehow, which mobs do have.

The link above has better details on estimations and you can always use the in-game damage meter set to crit chance to test your crit rate against particular mobs. There's also a training dummy in the guild halls for a more controlled testing environment.

Under interface options you can enable a performance meter, change that to track your crit rate and you'll get a ballpark of where it sits after hitting a few mobs. It seems pretty in line with the divide by 10 thing though. If you have 300 crit you'll be around 30% crit chance.
