Game still running after disconnect according to steam

Hey

I disconnected from maplestory earlier today and just realized that steam shows the game as "running" despite that. I spent maybe 5 hours ingame and my steam counter now says 9.

Is anyone else having this issue ? Weirdly enough i can play other games just fine (normally steam doesn't let you play two games at once).

Same here, its pissing me off. I don't want to reboot my pc.

Please run the task manager and remove the internet explorer. This happens due to game trying to run Internet Explorer for the quick survey

This is happening to me too, and no browser windows exist in task manager.

Have you look in the Details tab?
go to Details tab in Task Manager, then on the row that shows Name, PID, Status, User Name, CPU, ... (near the top but below File and Processes), click NAME to sort alphabetically

Find this: iexplore.exe. Right click any iexplore.exe and click end task to end it.

Yep, no browser process was there. I had to close Steam completely and relaunch it before I could reload the game. I just closed the game and did not see the same issue this time.
