I'd also like to note that Nexon has made a majority of housing content free, which includes multiple items that previously cost irl money.
It's heavy on cosmetics and emotes, although they're in my opinion fairly priced, ranging from 2 to 6 dollars.
There's mounts up to 3* in quality (for now I'm assuming) for about 10 to 15 dollars, and similar mounts can be earned in game with pretty minimal effort.
Emotes range from 1 buck to 3, with almost all of them being 1 to 1.5 dollars.
Lifestyle instruments are all 5 dollars which I feel is pretty expensive, but I haven't messed with the music system at all yet.
Other items like the Gender Change and Name Change are pretty competitive with other games.
You can respec stats and skills for free at almost any time.
Housing items range from about 5 cents to 30 cents, and you can set a budget when you're building too to make sure you don't accidentally spend more than you intended.
Changing face/hair is I believe in the area of 5 bucks which I feel is a bit much.
Expanding an inventory is 3.90 for 6 additional slots which I think is overpriced for how little you get, but so far inventory hasn't been even remotely an issue.
I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff, but that's all off the top of my head. I typically stay away from F2P games because I find the cash shops to be pretty offensive in general, but I'm not bothered by Maplestory 2's in the slightest. That might change in the future, but for now it seems pretty innocuous.
they cost "merets" wich you can buy for real money also the cosmetic shop is mostly community made
to be exact 500 merets cost 5,000 NX wich is 5.00 USD
i bought a community made hoodie with a dragon ball z charecter on it for 300 merets so i guess cosmetic items are a little too expensive but if its going free to play i guess its fine
IT should be noted that you can create your own clothes in this game and the main questline gives you a few coupons to do it without spending money.
It's always been a thing in maple.
lol, even captain spock is finding the logic hard on this one.
Oh don't take it in anyother way than curiosity, I am wanting to play the game on 10th for sure. But not used to the restrictions coming from other mmo's that is all.
How does one even converse then in MS2 locally when others are around you, please tell me its not via money for one chat line. How is it achieved.
Local chat isn't blocked and there are popular areas where people tend to congregate, you are only blocked from annoying people who are currently grinding or in instanced dungeons with your public erotic roleplay.
