First of all, did you try to actually enchant with Peachy? If you did, you would've noticed that you didn't get to +10, but the bar at the top filled a little bit lmao.
In order to enchant with Peachy at higher levels, you have to fill the requirement in increments. When that bar is filled, you'll get to the next enchant tier. So......no, it is not cheaper than Ophelia. Going from +9 to +10, assuming you succeed with Ophelia on the first attempt, Peachy is several times more expensive.
More importantly, what you've analyzed so far is crumbs. The entirety of the debate surrounding whether to take Peachy or Ophelia takes place from +11 to +15. That is when you are capped by equipment copies along with skyrocketing resource costs. Additionally, your chances of success with Ophelia reach rock bottom. I knew someone in my guild that was at +12 on their panic weapon with over 110 stacks on Ophelia, before Peachy became viable.
So I know about the stacks/charges from using Ophelia but what is the bar you mentioned with Peachy?
There's a large black bar right in the window at the top (edit: Okay, not at the top, but between the materials and the picture of the equipment). I believe at +9, it would say 0 out of 5. If you had actually tried to enchant with Peachy, you would've clicked and not gotten to +10, but be one-fifth of the way there. The cost of enchanting Peachy to +10 is the cost that you saw x5. Then, you probably would've started a topic about why it's so expensive to enchant with Peachy.
Ophelia's rates imply that you fail 2 times before you succeed on the 3rd, on average. Of course, some people fail on the first, and many fail more than twice. So on average, Peachy costs roughly the amount of 3 Ophelia attempts for a guaranteed upgrade.
Just be mindful that if you start using Peachy, you cannot switch back to Ophelia. Doing so will delete all the charges you currently accumulated using Peachy. The game will warn you if you try to do this.
After getting my Lv 50 Epic Headpiece and Top to Rank 10 I realized I was behind on looting the LVUP chest rewards.... and found out the LV60 chest gives free LV 60 Epic Rank 10 full set of gear....
That'll teach me for being 'frugal' with obtaining timed rewards (saving them for later lol)
