There is an issue with the website since we moved to a new server. Basically the server is ignoring our configuration and isn't using the latest version of PHP.
Our host and server guru is possibly unavailable until after Christmas to fix this issue.
Sorry for inconvenience. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Thanks

someone got another link?
https://www.moddb.com/games/swat-3/addons/last-resort-v074
Another thing you should get is DgVoodoo. Follow the instructions here: https://www.swat3lastresort.info/index.php/fix-framerate-problems
It emulates old video cards, and the game runs flawlessly with it. Great for many old games.
With those two things, the game runs as well as it did in 1999 if not better.
I agree though that dgVoodoo is great for old videogames like Swat 3. Windows 10 only emulates 16-bit colour mode and this seems to cause slowdowns.
I need to update that page for dgVoodoo that you linked to above. They have added some new features since I first made that tutorial. Hopefully I can do it this weekend.
Yeah, this is all the rage now. It'd be interesting to see this attempted for SWAT 3. I think SWAT 3 textures are good enough quality to produce some decent results. I've seen this tech used on even lower res textures than SWAT 3 to some okay results.
I really want to get the NeuWon update out for The Last Resort mod since it would be nice to see people playing online in Swat 3 again just like the old days of the Won Network.
In terms of the ESRGAN texture thing something like this could reallly help speed up the process of improving Swat 3's textures. I have manually improved a lot of textures but it is such a time consuming thing. Dark Synopsis, a moderator on the website forums, did some tests with this process and some of the results were promising.
