CD key?

Hi, I have just installed SWAT 3 and I am required to enter CD key in order to start the game. Where can I find it?

If you look in the Swat 3 folder they have added the CD key there.

Your path might be this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SWAT 3 Tactical Game of the Year Edition

Look for (and run) the file "RegisterGame.bat" - this is a batch file that enters the contents of "swat3.reg" into the Windows registry

I am surprised the game is asking for it actually since the Steam version seems to use the same DRM free executable as GOG.com version.

Hi, I´ve found and run the file but it closes down within a second. I took a screen and found out that that there is an error finding a registry. I´ll try to install the game on the other computer and write the outcome.

The fix I suggested was just a guess. I saw those files there while snooping and saw that it contained a Won Key for Swat 3.

I never had to do anything such as this for my install of the game. After Steam downloaded the game it ran for me fine without asking for a CD key.

Thanks for the suggestions, sadly I eventually decided to refund the game.
