First of all this game does features difficulty setting ( altough you would not get epilog on easy mode ). Secondly Steam allows you to setup gamepad controls for almost any game ( and this is one of the games that can be played with gamepad via Steam ), so if you find this 1996 N64 game keyboard+mouse controls frustrating, just use a freaking controller.
Yeah, and stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, people in general do not like ♥♥♥♥♥♥ persons.

One of the trickiest bosses in the game is the last boss which is some kinda robot that can break off in two. By then you should have a lot of different ammos so try and use all of them. Never stand in a line of fire always try to flank or get behind a strong opponent. And never take gun turrets lightly if you have to use seekers or other ammo to save health against gun turrets do so. Regular enemies and troops you can just use lasers most of the time. Wompas try and avoid or run from them unless you have plenty of time to unload lasers. They are a waste of resources and if you can actually get them in the line of fire of troopers and other enemies they will fight them for you so its always a good idea to avoid them rather than fight unless they are in your way.
Always try and destroy boxes they hide precious items.
The space missions are pretty self explanatory there's really no advice I can give on those, they are just shoot em ups that test your skill. Also when you get the jetpack try and practice with boosting a bit till you understand the mechanics the jetpack cheeses the game and makes it 100 times easier but it can also mess you up if you don't understand how it properly functions.
Goodluck this is one of my fav starwars games ever made and it deserves a remaster, or at least something better than what they put out on steam. Also yes the game is very wonky, yes the game suffers from age, yes the platforming is very weird. But believe it or not at the time it was the single greatest starwars game ever made and wouldn't get its match until rogue squadron was released. We were honestly amazed by it back on n64. It was a huge seller and a players choice. And it is a very hard game so don't feel bad if you're struggling, its one of those games you have to know and play a bit before you can understand how its suppose to go. So if you fail, or gameover take a break and try again this was kinda how the old games were.
