Frame rate problems
I'm playing this on a 2017 computer and the game is running so ridiculously quickly that it's impossible to play, ie 10 x regular frame rate speed. Have attempted fixing without success.

i have the same problem and tried the core thing it didnt help

i just had this after i bought it, crazy frame rates. I used a program called "RivaTuner" to lock the fps to 60. You might also be able to try enabling vsync in nvidia control panel to lock to ur monitors refresh rate

I'm not downloading 3rd party software. Either Steam games work, or I refund them.

That's not really 3rd party software, you can praobldy can find the same patch online. I don't go uploading fake stuff or viruses lol. That patch is real

But if you don't want to download stuff to help fixed a game because the devs were too lazy to do it, clearly i just wasted my ttime helping lol , good luck on the refund. Buy the GOG version, i did. That's my last advice to you. Good luck.
