LOW FPS ON HIGH END PC ? - LOWER YOUR CPU CORES !!
guys i just wanted to maybe help out anyone having same issues as i was..
i found it weird that my pc with RTX 3080 and i9 10900kf was struggling to provide 60+ fps on 2k resolution so i tried a couple things..

turns out if you just use task manager to right click the game process and in affinities deselect all aditional cpu cores aside from the first 4, your fps will immediatelly almost double.

i guess must be something wrong with the game optimization when running on cpus with higher core numbers ?

aniways, hope this helps.

On further research i found that it seems kaldaien had already looked into this issue and there is a thread offering a probably better solution using special K for those that prefer that way

Thanks for all the information. I'll check out the other post as well. I have a 4070 Super and can't get above 55 FPS 😱

yeah I just figured that out today when I checked. I can run deadspace remake or other games on ultra like cyberpunk and get 100 fps but this I can only get 30 at best? :(. aye mate. tis a shiddy indeed.

Just use Special K. More annoyingly though, I can't fix the occasional stutter this game has.

Why are the developers so lazy and won't fix it ? The first part works without problems on new computers.

Special K just delays the problem. FPS keeps falling anyway, just slower. Happens on AMD GPU also. What developers are saying is misleading, because that is not a GPU issue, that is purely a CPU issue, spoofing the cores just delays the problem.

A shame, because the game is so beautiful, great mechanics, etc, just looks like some devs messed up and didn't own it (they are blaming the users with bs like "you have a broken RAM" etc).

Yeah, it's the sad part about Unity games.

From Valheim to Kingmaker/Wotr to Poe1/Poe2 - I never ever had stable 60 fps in any of those, no matter if I used SpecialK for core spoofing or optimized boot.config, or some other tricks.

Just watching stream atm, and the streamer on Ryzen 9 5900X and 3070 has 30 fps in this game in Neketaka.
