IMO the street fighter rogue will net you the most amount of damage as a front liner. You're likely gonna be flanked regularly if you're on the front line, so use that to stack more damage and Crit damage.
Max out perception and you have a killing machine.
It's worth noting that Soul Annihilation only hits with your primary weapon, not a Full Attack, so using a big two-hander is best. That might be a departure from the usual vibe of rogues in most RPGs but in PoE it's really effective.
Maybe it was the Mob Stance of the Fighter or the Monk's The Long Pain.
Or maybe it was a specific weapon(some of them have cleave attacks).
Maybe when you merge the endless paths blade with the watcher blade, it makes a weapon with a cone aoe around your attack, so I would imagine that it would work with the soul blade ability too
