"There was an Error Loading the next map." Unable to enter Hasongo.
After the new patch - I am unable to enter Hasongo. I can enter all other towns cities etc. I had entered Hasongo a long time back - then moved on to complete other quests. Now I'm trying to return - I keep getting this error message and I CANNOT proceed.

I have tried verifying save files - loading an older save. Nothing is helping.

UPDATE : TL;DR below. I did a FULL REINSTALL of the game and this went away. Now this is working for me but others have reported it may not have worked for them. If you have OCD like me and want to get the quest done and have a lot of bandwidth go ahead and try it.

did you try exiting the game and restarting? this happened to me once with a zone and restarting helped.

yeah have tried all the basic stuff. restarting the game, restartingthe computer. Running verify files.

EDIT : Uninstalling the entire game and reinstalling it again seems to have fixed the problem.

Yeah this has been discussed multiple times before. THERE is an issue and Obsidian is looking at it. At the meantime, all you can really do is wait.

Samer here. Put in a good 15 hours of side quests and it still crashes at Hasongo. Hopefully they patch soon, along with the freaking random sutters/pausing that happen since the latest patch.

Hello - I posted an EDIT before you replied ! I got it working AFTER re-installing the whole game. May be an issue for some people who download this and have data caps. But if you're not, then go ahead and try. Games purring smoothly now

ok. good for you. my game is running flawless

this was the first big one i came across. wont hold it against Obsidian - games sucked me in like anything. one reinstall later - its back to its shiny polished self..

This is still happening. I fully unisntalled and re-installed and anytime i try to go to Hasongo it crashes to the home screen. I've literally done every side quest now available and have nothing left to do except the main storyline. Anyone else have any luck fixing this?

Go straight to Ashen Maw. You can skip everything and go straight to Ashen Maw. You will meet Eothas there. Then there will be a sequence where you are transported into the palace.

You can join with whoever faction you want or you go solo to Ukaizo (stormy area in map)

You will have to if Hasongo keeps crashing for you. 1.2 patch should hopefully fix it but that's in July.

There's not alot of quest in Hasongo. It's literally that 1 quest you have to clear in Hasongo and that's it. It's been invaded by Nagas and you have to liberate it. That's the only quest you'll miss.

his side quest is so little and not very flashed out, you're not gonna miss out much. he has to find bearn
