Yes you can.

In order to kill eothas you need to do two possible choices in the forgotten sanctum DLC.

you have to revive Wael body and either let Wael or concelhaut to inhabit the body, then you get an option to call on waels body to destroy eothas at the end of the game

Here are your main variants:
  • Ask Eothas to take pity on the mortals. Convince Eothas to change his mind - this unlocks one of the good endings.
  • Convince Eothas to choose one of the gods to become a leader. Convince Eothas that a war between gods will be disastrous (this unlocks one of the good endings).
  • Convince Eothas to inspire the mortals. This unlocks one of the good endings.
  • Ask Eothas to destroy everything. Eothas can agree to that - bad ending. Or he can ignore the Watcher's wish - good ending.
  • Don't interfere with the process of destroying the Wheel. Watch one of the good endings.
  • Tell Eothas that you want to fight with him. You won't participate in a "regular" fight. Irritate Eothas enough and he will kill your character in a blink of an eye - bad ending.

Take your pick :steammocking:

Yes, but you can kill him though and these are endings that are not covered in the guide posted in the beginning of the thread.

In all endings the wheel gets destroyed, the variations are what happens to eothas and the watcher. In some endings the watcher convinces eothas to end the world, in others he inspires the people or sets up a god as a leader, etc. There's just some variations where the watcher brings about eothas destruction, which is a huge legend cemented by the watcher as well as huge implications of a titan controlled by either concelhaut turned into a kraken Lich or Wael being able to enter the in between are huge.

He is called a god for a reason. But you can influence the world after the Wheel is broken.

read the op, he clearly cares about the wheel being broken, it's called reading comprehension. Reading comprehension is all about reading in between the lines and looking for what the true intention is, not just answering one technicality and hoping it makes you look right

I'm not addressing the wheel part, I'm addressing the ability to kill eothas which was incorrectly answered as no in the thread, and the inaccurate and outdated guide posted in the first post.

It's less for the op and more for if someone Google's it they don't get inaccurate information

And just like that guide above, I was trying to avoid 100% spoiler by telling the options and not the full result. Of course that was ruined because you had to come in with "akkyytually, just becuz you can kill him doesn't mean you can stop him from breaking wheel!"
