Bekarna's Folly and the Forgotten Sanctum DLC
I expect to start the Forgotten Sanctum, the penultimate chapter of this epic journey as soon as I can steal the time. I completed the Bekarna's Folly some time ago. Before I headed back to Alchemyr, I checked in the wiki if I have missed something. And there was actually an advice to deliver it after the Forgotten Sanctum. This seems very counter intuitive. In addition, even with my big imagination, I can not find an ingame reason why my team will rush into the affairs of the mages before placating one of them (that is Alchemyr).

Has anybody gone that route and is there a major difference between the delivering the quest before and after the FS? I have still the Forgotten Sanctum and the journey to Ukaizo so major spoilers should be avoided (Thanks in advance). Actually, I have the feeling that the FS might be my favourite DLC (judging from the trailer).

So you mean [https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Bekarna%27s_Folly this note], I take it:

Note: Consider handing this quest in after finishing The Forgotten Sanctum. The events of the DLC involve characters in this quest and thus will provide more insight and context during the end of the quest.

I think it's just talking from an RP perspective. You'll hear a bunch about archmages you won't have met yet. But that was sort of the point of that moment in the original, to act as a preview for the DLC. Still, you might hear even more if you hand it in after Sanctum, not sure. I think I've done it, but I don't remember the difference.

I don't think there's many big differences to the DLC itself, or different loot or anything, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
