Anyone done a Priest of Rymrgand/Multiclass of Rymrgand playthrough?
1. At what difficulty level did you try it?
2. Does anyone in the game outside of the Beast of Winter DLC react to your faith?
3. In roleplaying terms, I want to do a lawful neutral playthrough with the Fair and Balanced
background. Should I go Rymrgand or Berath? Both have Rational as a favored disposition.
4. In terms of weirdness, which one's weirder/has more "WTF" options in dialogue?

2. Why would they? The class isn't available normally, you need a mod to make your player one (otherwise only vatnir added in beast of winter has this class)

There also won't be any unique dialogue for this class either

^^ what they said, rymrgand is usually vatnir exclusive(like how gaun is usually xoti excluisve) while mods can make them playable unless one also mods in new conversations, they wont get unique interactions for their subclass/deity beyond generic priest ones

on the flip side, theres a LOT of unique interactions for a berath priest across the game, since we're supposed to be the 'herald of berath' and all

Berath is far better.. Rymrgand's "rational" has to be that of pointless nihilism or that you wish to end everything into oblivion.. Either way, fair and balanced background makes no sense imo.

Rymrgand's "rational", which is badly named here, has to do with accepting inevitability and letting inevitable ruin through time (which might actually be the most truthful thing in this game, hence why I wouldn't consider it rational, quotation marks or not. Truth just is, after all).
With a high enough religion, during the DLC (very early on) you can see that one of the tenets of the doctrine is to "accept" the end, but not to purposefully hasten it, because there is no need to do so.
Now it's kind of in contradiction with the views of Rymrgand sometimes, he does like when stuff just dies forever, or when the end is hastened by outside forces (like Eothas). But tenets of a doctrine are hardly that of a God, so there is that. And considering the origins of these beings, it's no wonder it would be contradictory.

Nevertheless, it is not nihilism either, this word still gets thrown out for anything that ressembles even somewhat cringe death cults or, I guess, anything that would ressemble Rymrgand's ethos. Strange to compare a video game world to the actual real world, but in this context it should be fair.
And so what's next, Buddhism gets thrown under the bus too? Might as well to be honest, westerners tend to be retarded when it comes to eastern cultures. Don't blame 'em either, ♥♥♥♥'s krangled over there.
