Bugged Quest: Lost Dues in Good Faith

Confronted the Woedicans in the temple.
Picked the option to fight. (Attack)
Nothing happened. They just stood there.
Talked to Oswald and he said thanks for rescuing him.
Oswald asked if he can join my crew and I said yes.
I can see Oswald on my boat as a crew member.

Quest does not complete and says:

Oswald was held captive by a cult of overzealous Woedicans and put on trial for oathbreaking. He didn't survive their judgment.

The money he owes Kahn might still be on his body.

Well no he did not die. There is no body to search and the quest is going nowhere now.

In my case, he died and I recovered the money but the quest is still not completed. :/
