What classes do companions have?
Or rather, I'm more interested in what they don't have.
I like to pick my character's class as something that will not be repeated in some companion, but I don't want to spoil the story by checking the list of all companions.

Maybe someone can advise me on what are my options?

Every companion has 3 class options when you recruit them. For a non spoilery example, your first companion can be either a fighter, rogue or Swashbuckler (fighter/rogue multiclass). Its your choice.

So don't worry about repeating. Play what you'd enjoy. You can adjust their class to accomitdate yours. My main was a swashbuckler, so I made that companion into a shield focused tank while I did the swashbucklery stuff.

When you first recruit your companions, you can choose one of three options about what class they will be. You can be whatever you want and still find a viable party.

Every class is taken by at least one companion. Depending which companion you are going to pick you can go with whatever PC class you like. There's nothing they don't have.

There are two types of choices regarding class choice. I'll call them, eder group and aloth group.

Eder group is composed of characters with 2 classes that you can single or multiclass. Like eder is fighter/rogue (and you can single fighter or rogue is you so choose).

Aloth group is one main class that you can single, or that you can multiclass with 2 other classes. For aloth it's either single wizard or wizard/fighter or wizard/rogue.

That group is there for background purposes (like aloth not being a wizard would be kind of wierd).

All skills do 1 of 3 things ..Do damage..Delays (protects) damge ..or heals. All clasees are just skills with different names that are all just variations of this. If you take away there descriptions and names and break all the skills down to raw numbers. You would find that all classes are very similar. It really doesn't matter what class you play. Most all party makeup is viable as long as you have a mix of these 3 things.
