Can't upgrade my ship

I bought the Captain's Quarters upgrade and the Menagerie upgrade but the game will not let me upgrade with them. It askes me if I want to put them on my ship, I click yes, then nothing happens.

ps my ship type is the Dhow, if these upgrades can only be used on the best ships, the item should state that.

Equip them in the bottom two slots. It works even on the starter ship. If it doesnt equip right away try it one more time.

when i try to use them nothing happen, they just go back to the top of my stash and the slots stay empty.

Just have to try over and over again, and eventually it'll take. It's a bug.

yep, tried many many times with different configurations such as removing anchor/wheel, doesn't work.

Yes, same here, I cannot install the improvements on the Defiant.

There is a city that name starts with an N, there is a harbor master at the North Eastern part of the first map you enter, also the Gallion I think

mmh i never saw the upgrades for captain quarters and menagerie there have to check again

Neketaka Shipwrite lets you buy, but defiant upgrade is bugging for me. It's not working, I was able to buy and improve the original three slots to a better improved form. That helped battles alot.

Did anyone figure this out, or is this just a bug to live with right now?
