co-op multiplayer?
I know this game never meant to be cooperative, but it would be nice to see that kind of change. What do you think?

Never going to happen, unless someone makes an extroardinarily ambitious mod, but how would you even hypothetically handle such a thing in a real-time-with-pause game? Can both players pause/unpause? What about adjusting combat speed?

that can be managed by host. I'm sure two friends, cooperating through steam or discord/skype, etc. can negotiate, as well as random players via in-game chat. And of course there would be limit, depending on max squard members

i think Divinity Original Sin 2 is a prime example of how MP in this genre can work really well.

100% agree! It can be done, but I would rather this game be singleplayer ;)

Multiplayer is a powerful marketing tool. Many games were bought by me to play with a friend. Sometimes we gift a game to each other for that purpose. Pity the devs overlooked that opportunity.

I am sure it was considered and when cost and difficulty to implement was weighed against potential profit increase they decided it was not viable.
