What lvl is Poko Kohara doable? (Location name spoilers)

Its the first quest of Vailian Trading Company, where you go to the island called Tikawara to check on an expedition that goes to Poko Kohara. I reached the island Polo Kohara and it was way too difficult, three skull enemies everywhere and even three red skulls. I come back 3 levels later it';s still the same.

This is path of the damned which is meant to be more difficult but I don't find the other areas with enemies labbeled with such high level of skulls - and the quest log doesnt mention that the quest is "above my level" either. Is this just the nature of the island?

If you've done this quest do you remember if it was later in the game? I mean you get pointed towards the vailian trading company early in the game so i dojn't see why the first quest should be this difficult.

I could come here at level 5 initially now I'm level 8 and it's still the same.

Nobody? Like the giant golem on poko kohara is still way too hard even the quest has been "white" meaning not above my level for 5 levels.

It's definitely one of the more difficult quests. I play on Veteran with level scaling so I don't have any recommendations for you, sorry. I did it at level 10 and it was very tough.

You can do it at level 6-7 easy enough.

did it on POTD post patch 1.1 at level 7...
all scaling, only up

just make sure you finish some side quests in neketaka before you go there --> ez game

there are so many tools in this game you can probably do it as soon as you leave port maje if you use all of them...
