Swift strikes

I'll start off by saying monk is my favorite class but now turn based is here. And i absolutely love it. I just hope in the next patch they do something about the monk's swift strikes cause right now it's kind of useless. It sucks cause i think this monk ability is for me what sets the monk apart from other classes. But i still love the game. I just hope the next patch will address that issue.

Both upgrades of Swift Strikes are extremely powerful, especially Swift Flurry in a crit build. It's only the base ability that is underwhelming.

It moves your initiative up next turn though, where you'll get times where you attack, end turb/round, and get to go at the start of the round.

Plus yeah, the crit ability upgrade on it that makes you attack twice on a crit is insanely powerful

Yes. You can actually get 4 attacks in turn based if both your main fist attacks each crit.
