Orange Interactive items

When you hit tab to see items, some are orange. It doesn't seem to be anything you can do with them except 'attack' them. Am I incorrect, or is there a way to interact with them?

Orange items are strictly for attacking. Usually they're explosive barrels that will blow it you hit them with fire or lightning. You can ignore them outside of combat, unless they're a sigil, which you want to destroy without getting too close otherwise they give you a major debuff (or will kill you if they're a sigil of death) that lasts until you rest

Worth adding that there are protective stones one will find across the Deadfire that help against those.
