What's the best Greatsword weapon in this game?, My human male lvl "20" Barbarian warrior player character named Cadan seriously needs it currently.

The game has no particularly good Greatswords.

If you want a compromise between a Greatsword like thing for RP reason and a good weapon the Estocs are your best bet.

The two best greatswords are the Whispers of the Endless Paths and the Twin Eels.
Both of them are incredibly strong.
Whispers is absolutely godly for using abilities, as it will always hit in a cone, potentially dealing triple-quadruple damage and effect.
It alsogrants you the unique ability "run through", which is insanely good.

For Estocs, the Eager Blade is pretty good. Not on the level of the previous two, but still a great weapon.

My favorite is Whispers of the Endless Path, the greatsword that combines two of the unique PoE1 weapons that were destroyed when Eothas stomped your keep.

One thing to remember about Whispers of the Endless path is that it's base damage is lower than other greatswords of similar rarity. This is due to it's innate cleave effect(and is typical for weapons that have AoE or multi-hits). So while it does excel vs groups of tightly packed enemies, it deals less damage against individuals.

Another strong Great Sword is the Voidwheel. It deals self raw damage(but also deals raw damage to enemies) and can shoot Necrotic Lances at your target on a crit, making it a very strong single enemy killer. Very good on characters that can either self heal or in parties that have a dedicated healer.
