The stealth mechanics in this game are very good. It's a shame there isn't a thieves guild faction.
there kinda is, well in the first one n e ways, as there are the two guilds one of which yoiu declare allegiance to, there is the one in a wooden like building similar to a Viking hall, and the other is in a brick fortress type deal (I forgot exact names and locations as its been a long time since I last played the first game), so the one that is the wooden building is kinda a rouge like faction, though not 100% thieves guild, they do seem quite a bit on the guild street side of things where as the other guild is more on the knights/paladin side of things and though they don't actually say or state it, Pennylane pretty much represents the mages guild.
I would have loved the idea more of a guild structure similar to that of Morrowinds, different guilds and different factons, as it would open up SOOOOO many vaious story and sidequests options and pathways...…. guilds could fight against or work with each other, same with factions the factions part they kind of got w the varioius trading companies
