So from what I understand, while this item is in your possession, all plant creatures are 2 levels higher than normal. Meaning if I enchant it with empowering instict, all plants go down by two?
I have no need for the rejuvination upgrade as I'm a wizard and I try to leave infuse vitals and such as far away and alone as I can. I'm doing an old school arcane spellcaster. No healing by me! xD Anyway, I just wanna be sure that I don't read something wrong here. Thanks in advance! ^^

Plant/Beast are types of druid spells, like conjuration/evocation/illusion/etc are spell types for wizards and echo/shred for ciphers. In other words,that quarterstaff makes druid spells with Plant or Beast keywords stronger.

Bonus stronger if you're playing an Ancient Druid as they already get +2 on Beast/Plant spells. With the staff that's +4. +5 if you enchant the staff. +6 if you're playing a Nature godlike and have a buff on you prior to casting.

EDIT, the subclass may only net you +1 and not +2, but the combination is still pretty busted.
