Is there a build for a two-handed barbarian?
I've been looking for hours for such a build but all I find is threads commenting how crap 2H weapons are.

However I'm not sure whether this problem is fixed in the latest version.

I want to create a Karsa Orlong character (Malazan Book of the Fallen), which means Aumaua Barbarian with a freaking yuge sword.

I'm not interested in min-maxing, I just want a character to play on Veteran, who is fun, and does impressive damage.

Is this possible in Deadfire? Because it was possible in PoE1.

Thank you.

Dunno about "a build", but multiclass Barbarian/Fighter gives many viable options. Such as Berserker/Devoted with Great Sword. Which base attributes largely depends on your companions. If there are no body guards in your party, the barbarian will benefit from increased CON/RES and, of course, PER for the Accuracy bonus. Else feel free to raise other attributes.

Go for Barbarian (Berserk) + Figther (Devoted) as noted above but i like the 2-hander Battle Axes.
You get two nices ones in the game, and really nice gear that lowers your recovery time (helm that reduces recovery with 2-handers & Medium armor that reduces recovery based on your Athletic Skill).
