What is the Mod Manager folder ?

Do you have any more information? Did you install Mod Manager?

I downloaded a mod and want to place it into the mod manager folder. In options there is an option called mod manager. I assume mods should be listed there and I want to know where I have to place the mods for them to appear in the mod manager in the options menu.

Have you tried Nexus mod manager? They host Pillars mods on that site.

Google it. Or you know, read some other mods descriptions instead of using caps repeating yourself in here.

Well, Nexus is a good start for all things mod related, for various games.. But, it looks like you don't want to help yourself.

It would be wise to google to get proper modding info and each mod may have its own prerequisities.

Otherwise, to answer the basic part of the question: Mods generally go in a subdirectory under /override directory. Each mod should have it's own folder.

raubrey's answer is good but you also need to read the directions for each mod. Some of them have you load it in a different location. I use nexus and the info is in the "description" tab. Many mods also have a "read me" file which explains how to install the mod. Sometimes you'll need to create a new folder if the game doesn't automatically create it for you.
