Looking for a Ranger multiclass build suggestion?

I've just finished Pillars 1 and I want to play Deadfire with a multiclassed Ranged. Can you guys tell me a good multiclass or build? Thanks!

You looking to make a ranged attacker ? I'd propperly combo it with either Rogue or Chanter.. Im sure theres others with more experience with better ideas tho.

I'm using Maia as Ranger/Rouge, Scout multi-class I think it's called, and she's absolutely lethal in both ranged & close melee.

If you want to dual wield pistols, berserker/devoted/ranger/monk with paladin would be good as spamming paladin's Flames of Devotion lets you attack with both pisols each time, instead of having to reload one at a time like normal.

Also you can build a ghost heart/trickster to use the watershapers rod (enchanted for the aoe) and one shot whole groups of enemies from stealth if you want to get really fancy.

My main is a wildrhymer (ranger/chanter), lvl 19 now and they're pretty fun, good dps and utility, with low-med micromanagement, and can tank some. I'd recommend light-medium armor, marked for the hunt, evasive roll, concussive shot, and some of the shared pet buffs for ranger (went stalker). For chanter buff/de-buff innvocations and chants (blessed was wengridh/ aefyllath ues) and some damage. Unless you're going for a ranged char, then maybe some of the chanter summons and heals.

Ranger/Chanter and Ranger/Paladin are two multi-class combinations that made me appreciate the Ranger class - compared with PoE 1.

Ranger(I like ghost heart) - Cypher(Ascendant)
Pick up that bow that drops in that bog or something in Nehetaka (that one that shoots many projectiles) and you get to the ascended state extremly quickly.
Then cast spells or just shoot and see everything go dead.

For pure damage output i like the rogue/ranger best, so many good damage attacks that works wonderfully with a bow.

If you go ranger/chanter you can summon as well as buff yourself. Beckoner works really well as 6 wee dragons can fairly keep the opposition occupied.
