Why is Resolve so important for Chanter?
It's listed as "highly recommended" but I'm wondering why, I plan to play a squishy spellcaster Troubadour Chanter who strictly sits at the rear of the party with a ranged weapon doing his chants, do I really need resistance to attacks?

EDIT: This question also goes for Constitution too.

Meh, it's just Obsidian propaganda, comrade. It is relevant for solo potd chanter.

Feel free to handle these recommendations as you like.
Of course a high RES is good, but do I need it?
Any stat is better if it is higher :)

IMO there are two extremes:

The min / max character
and the
not really good at anything "recommended" build (any class)

It's rare when someone answers their own question in the question, but somehow you managed it. Grats.

Obviously no, you don't need high res and con on a backline ranged chanter. Unless you can see something I don't you may as well multiclass or you will end up with cone invocations you won't use. Ranger, rogue, or devoted would be the most likely candidates to add to ranged accuracy, damage, and penetration in respective order.
