ranger build help

i am making a frostseeker ranger and dont know what gear would be good any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

blackblade hood, bonesetter's torc amulet, devil of caroc armor, firethrower's gloves, footprints of ahu taka boots, any cape, any rings, upright captain's belt and abraham as pet.

Gatecrasher gloves, Blackblade hood, Bonesetter torc, Mirrorback cloak, Ring of the Marksman and Ring of the Solitary Wanderer (2nd one optional,) belt either instant potion belt or upright captain, boots ahu taka. Armor Gipon Prudensco or Devil of Caroc or Sharpshooter's Garb. Forget about the reload time it's the upgrade you'd want on sharpshooter's garb.

well i like to use maia she is my favorite companion and she need the sharpshooter anyway i think i will use the armor gipon as i dont think i really the need the plus 2 resource and i can always buy it later if i think i need it and i think chameleon is better than wander for me

but how do i get both blackblade hood and gipon prudensco as to get blackblade i have to do quests for the principi and to get gipon i have to have a negative reputation with them plus i need to side with the rdc this time is it still possible to get the items?

you want DOC because it offers better survivability and it has the same armor recovery as Gipon. What happens is that it's a medium armor right so it gets reduced by Abraham to nearly light armor + it does have the articulated buff (-10% armor recovery) whihc makes it on par with Gipon in terms of recovery speed.

I only have 20 hours, but in fairness to me that's all be spent rerolling characters over and over and over ;).

Gawd. You made me look. 414 hrs now. Pathetic really. I'd be out in the boat fishing right now, but trying to save my pennies this summer.
