Leveling too fast (No spoilers please)
I stopped playing the game because I'm still deciding on what I'm going to do in regards to this fast leveling. I brought this issue up before, but I have another question. How quickly will you reach the the level cap before end game? Leveling up is way too fast and I'm only a few hours into the game. If someone can give me a % number of game completetion where you will hit level cap that would be great. Please note that level scaling is off. EX: About 60% of the game you will reach max level with no mods.

When I hit 20, I think I did almost 95% of the content in the game. I had one bounty quest and a few other quests left.

Leveling seems fast at first, but it's pretty balanced.

You think you are leveling too fast but, really, there's just not a lot to do in the game. Also, level speed isn't linear. You go to level 10-12 very very fast, then it slows down a bit.

I hit the level cap with a solo char somewhere in the later midgame without minmaxing/savescumming. By playtime i'd guess around 60%. AFAIK there is already a mod, that reduces XP by 25%.

XP requirements for levels increase for each level. So a Level 10 char has not reached half the way Level 20. Look at your total earned xp in you stat screen.
A Level 10 would have about 45.000-55.000 XP. You need 190.000 XP to max out, so in theory a Level 10 only earned about a quarter of the required XP on his way to 20. (Later quests tend to reward more XP however.)

I actually think the quests award too few XP. From a roleplaying perspective I don't care about bounties, but I finished the game doing the majority of quests (from what I can gather from the walkthroughs) and still only reached level 16 (halfway to level 17). Given the exponential ammount of XP it takes to reach higher levels I was nowhere near max level.

Also if you attempt to use stealth or other means to minimize combat you're screwed, you'll pass on a ton of combat XP and money (since the only way to make it in this game is from selling the equipment of dead enemies).

You can set it to level scaling as well to balance it

Do you get more exp if you play with only two characters as compared to a full party?

I think it splits xp evenly so yeah a party of 1-2 would gain more xp than 3-5

XP isnt split

BUT the game gives BONUS XP for each character a party is missing

Oh really guess I was wrong then sorry
Have done all quests and I think, that I hit Level 20 with my 5 main chars when there have been still 30% Exp. points would have been left.

So have done some bounties, the vulcan island, the end faction quest and the whole end island , wasting exp. points ...

so yes a mod with minus 25 to 30% exp. points would fix that ...

Since the new update came out, I'm about to start again later tonight.. I just have one more quick question. With level scaling (scale up) on, is there still a feel for progression in regards to leveling, equipment, etc?

yes

i mean, weapons alone get a huge dmg boost from their quality enchantments, isnt the legendary one a 60% bonus to dmg, 15 extra accuracy and like 4 penetration?
