What are good ways to counter charmed and domination?
Is there some items that can counter this? Sometimes my whole party can be mind controlled by the enemy.

A straight Chanter can provide good group protection around level 12 I think.
There's also a drug and one of the new alcoholic drinks that provide protection.
Anything that boosts Will will make it harder for the attacks to hit, and there's plenty of items or skills for that. I believe Cipher and Paladin also get passives to make them immune or at least highly resistant.

EDIT- also Paladins get a passive that lets them dispel it from a party member by hitting them with their weapon. I tried this on one character and it works fine, but the preventative measures and skills are a lot easier to deal with mid-fight.

Also remember there are several abilities that would let you cocoon a teammate that got turned so they couldn't hurt you.

Theres a potion "Wael's something" I think I saw it sold in the Wild Mare and at some pirate or slaver area. It says immunity to mind affecting spells. Not in game so cant give you more details. Of course there aren't many around.

Wael's Wind. Most taverns carry it now and though they only sell 1-2 at a time they replenish quickly and you can stack up several by remembering to snag them when picking up quests so you have several later when you need them.

Maybe cast Withdraw with your priest on the hostile member?

Good to know that potion restocks. Thanks!

-Priest 1st level spell Suppress Affliction typically blocks it long enough for the charm/dominate to fall off
-Svef drug provides immunity and is relatively easy to find
-Paladin's Unshackle ability and the passive that allows them to strike allies to remove mental afflictions

You can counter any affliction with a buff.
Buff one of your character with an intellect buff to remove Dominated for instance.

There is also a Priest level 1 spell which removes every afflection for a set amount of time.

The paladin can remove afflication with the correct skill and hitting a friendly character in melee.

Rogue can get immunity into 3 (4?) stats (from a passive).

I could be wrong, but I thought Withdraw only works on friendlies, but the Cipher and Wizard spells would work on someone Dominated.

Captain's Banquet is another thing that will give immunity. food (incredible) on the craft menu. Potion of the focused mind will give you resistance, so it will downgrade dominated to charmed for example. Shimmer Scale (small shield) has an upgrade to make you immune to gaze attacks (like fampyr gaze.)

Wielding the talking blade you get in Nekata old city makes you immune to mind stuff too. After you bind and level it.

I used svef. I think the chanter's chant effects are bugged as I used a chant with just one in it specifically to counter the charmed and I still had people close to him being charmed including himself. One of the things that helped is having a cipher with the ability to charm your party members back.

Huh, mine must have been bugged because it didn't help my tank at all and I unlocked it all early by finding it's original owner.

Included in the inspirations others mentioned, fighter has tactical barrage and monk has clarity of mind which both give int inspirations to themselves. You'd have to watch status effects so when it gets removed by an affliction attack you can put it back up.

Priests have the spell Suppress Affliction while Paladins have Liberating Exhortation which does the same thing. A fairly common ring also has the same ability bound to it.

A paladin passive called Aegis of Loyalty allows them to hit allies and remove mind-control type afflictions.

Fighters, Ciphers and Rogues gain passives that give them resistance to intellect afflictions.
+Will defensive passives from the other classes also help.

Ciphers have a high level ability called Stasis Shell that could lock down a mind-controlled ally. Wizards also have a version called Temporal cocoon.

Chanters have two chants that help specifically against mind-control, the first is called something like "Bold Hearts" provides +10 Will defense and the second "Famypr's Gaze" gives resistance to all intellect afflictions.

Wizards have Arcane reflection type spells that prevent several spell levels worth of spells from affecting them.

Inspirations also cancel out afflictions, but the opposite applies as well. This means you'll have to reapply any Inspirations to keep your people protected.
Priests' Prayer for the spirit and its advanced version are typically the go to spells for party-wide buffing, while other classes like the fighter, wizard and monk have self buffs.
+Resolve spells also provide some protection by increasing Will defenses and lowering the duration of any hostile effects.

Finally, the drug Svef provides immunity and is relatively easy to find. Potions of Attuned Self, Ripple Sponge and White Leaf items also provide +Will bonuses. There's even an amulet that provides the White Leaf effect after resting.

everything that's called a "resistance" is indeed quite unreliable. it's also dishearteningly non-descriptive, i.e. i don't even know if it adds +x to will defense, or gives an extra chance to resist the effects if the defense fails. the only immunities that i found so far are svef, upgraded shimmering scale, and some non-craftable cocktail (food)
