Do sidekicks talk?

Or are they like those "adventurers" you hire at a tavern?

Or do they have dialogue etc?

Just asking because some of them seem interesting, but i prefer companions who take part in dialogue.

They don't have conversation hubs until you start in on the DLC other than Rekke, but they do occasionally speak up in dialogue or comment or banter with each other. Mostly in the DLC again. Less involvement than the story companions, but more than adventurers. Ydwin and Fassina in particular were almost full companions, and would've been if the Kickstarter had reached a few more stretch goals.

Yes they do put in quips here and there, and even have development in the dlc (check the recommended companions in the quest logs for dlc). They just don't participate in the companion reputation system, and don't have as much to say as companions

Not a huge fan of the sidekicks. They're very limited compared to full companions. They might have interesting hooks when you first meet them, but they don't really add much.
