Cool, interesting or funny character builds for Turn based
So I want to share a few builds that I have found to be really fuuny to use in turn based mode.
Feel free to share your own!

The Matrix-Monk:
Shadowdancer(Helwalker Monk/Trickster Rogue)
Basic concept: Tank-DPS class that stacks high amounts of Deflection and Accuracy to get a lot of free attacks from Riposte+Soul Mirror and Swift Flurry.
In addition, you can use Repulsive Visage as an easy way to affect large groups of enemies with Terrify and Sickened.

The downside of the Helwalker(taking +5% extra damage for each wound you have) is negated by never taking a full hit(if even that). If you feel like you take too much damage, pick Iron Wheel for an increase in armor and constitution to off-set it. If not, pick Turning Wheel to keep durations up longer, as well as increase your damage output.

For offense, Confounding Blindness(rogue) allows you to blind priority enemies(making it easier to tank the hits/return attacks with Riposte) and reduce the enemy's Deflection for each attack hitting them while they are debuffed(this includes allies hitting them while debuffed). Due to dual-wielding, you apply the debuff twice, and if one of them hits, you are usually looking at 3 turns of the debuff. This makes it very easy to hit and crit the target with anything that targets Deflection.
In addition, Swift Flurry grants a 33% chance on a crit to strike a second time. Not sure if a crit of a crit can generate further attacks, but I have been able to land 4 attacks during a single turn(plus what ever is generated from Riposte, Soul Mirror and disengagement attacks).

Items you would want eventually:
- Devil of Caroc Breastplate: Adds 2 of each class ressource, making it easier to keep your buffs up and apply Confounding Blindness multiple times during a fight. It is also pretty sturdy(high armor values, potential resistances) without too much of a penalty to Initiative. Can be stolen fairly early in the game(requires specific PoE1 setting).

- Tuotilo's Palm: Assists in generating wounds(increase damage output and as a ressource) without taking too much damage. Can either assist in accuracy or deflection/reflex. Counts as off-hand, unarmed weapon, so scales with your monk stuff. It's Modal allows for easier crits. Can be stolen fairly early in the game.

- Kapana Taga: Allows you to engage more enemies(works well with the tanking role) and have 2 damage types, making it more reliable against different enemies. Deals a bit of raw damage. Can grant a large amount of Accuracy(+12 if engaging 3 enemies) and can make you immune to flanking. The chance to cause Daze(which fits well with the amount of attacks per turn) further increases your tanking capabilities.

Why does it work for turn-based?
It is easier to manage the different ressources(you have 3 of them) and when to use which ability. It is also easier to capitalize on Confounding Blindness in turn-based. Several of your buffs can be casted in the same turn, and still move and attack/cast spells.

What makes it fun?
Having enemies pile around you, trying to hit you, then simply selfdestructing as you retaliate is pretty fun. Then we have the fact that it is a pretty efficient tank that is able to negate a lot of damage and apply crowd control, either as AoE or single target. And it is great for just focusing down a single target as well.
