The narration at the beginning of the game? It's like fingernails on a chalkboard, no worse. Seriously, this is a good game, the artwork is nice, the environments, the characters. But they should have either hired pros or left out the narration.

General verdict is that they should have hired someone else.

I wonder why they chose to make the Narrators the same voice as a sidekick...I keep hoping there's an in-game reason for it, lol. Because I envision Ywdin every time I hear the narrator now, and its making my endgame weird.

If you want to turn off just the Narrator voice, I read that you can:

"Just go into your PoE 2 folder

Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\StreamingAssets\Audio\Windows\Voices\English(US)

And then Move or delete the "narrator" folder! Solved!"
