The only way to cause that is if you sacrificed Kana Rua during the first game to the blood pool in the Skaenite temple near Dyrford) and she finds out about it. Kana was her brother.

Could be a bug. To my knowledge, the only reason she should refuse to talk to you is because of that choice in the previous game. Might be worth heading over to the Obsidian forums and asking over there.

Women, amirite? One minute they wanna talk, the next you're getting the silent treatment!

Just kidding. Definitely seems like a bug.

A bug in a obsidian game!?! Clearly you jest for such a prestigious C list rpg dev would never release a game buggier than a day one bethesda title covered in honey and tossed on ant hill.... well unless we count there entire past library of games anyways that unfair they just were screwed by publishers ever single time even on the self funded games with no publisher interference so take back your heretical suggestion POE2 has bugs you heathen.

I chuckled aloud. +1!
To be fair; their self-funded stuff has been less bug-ridden than their earlier stuff, the problem is that that isn't exactly a high bar.

I haven't got that bug myself.

If you side with the Vailians or Huana and compelte their faction questlines she will leave your party. That is the only thing I can think of other than a bug.

@Wulfund no she won't. That's an ourright misleading statement. If you do Maia's quest, she won't leave.

I've done Maia's quest both playthroughs I have done so far and she left both times when I completed the Huana questline to get the achievement (since it didn't work before the recent patch). Maybe if you romance her beforehand she won't leave, I'm not sure but I haven't tried.

@Wulf huh, that's weird. I don't know how the game does it then. I'm guessing either a bug or it has to do with what your relationship meter with her at the time and some other conditionals.

im not even there - never finished Huana quest... she didnt had the reason to leave

just finished the family quest.... killed the B family... talked to V family... suddenly the nagotiation option appears - we all talk in the big room ( remember i said i killed all B family? )
anyway - i managed to complete the V family quest by killing the B and i made peace between them after killing all the B family.... ima GOD!

Sounds like a bug. :/ Maybe Maia leaves if you do the Family Feud quest like Pallegina does.
