cant download any free DLC

The voice pack or the other DLC everytime I tried to click on download it plays the game instead. any ideas?

Go to Library > Downloads and see if it's queued there. Not sure if that works but if you haven't yet taken a look, givve it a try. I have this issue too with other games.

It should show in your DLC list after you do that. Exit the game, uncheck the DLC in your DLC list, recheck it, it should download after that. Steam is weird.

Just like says the guy above, this works I had the same issue. It's the way Steam handles free dlc being messy at times.

What i always do is checking the integrity of files (after i clicked once on the dlc to install so it "added" and its checked on my dlc list just not installed)

Honestly the cuticle hole DLC is so terrible you might as well not bother. The dialog is atrocious and they all refer to either their "rp" names or whatever as you play.

It totally and completely destroys world immersion. I highly advise you just ignore it. I personally wish I had never downloaded it cause all those voices are cringe inducingly terrible.

Hi, so I don't know if the people having this issue still have this issue or not, but I think I have a way of installing the free dlcs for steam. I've tested it with the beards & hair, and the rum runner's pack, and so far I've managed to download both dlcs by doing some stuff. (just to clarify, whenever I press the "Find more DLC in store" option in the game section of the library, the free dlcs don't show an option to add to cart, nor are they added if I chose the add all dlcs option). So what I do is:
1- Add them to the wishlist
2- From the wishlist I press the option of Watch now that's by the DLC that I wish to install (this will open the game, but it will also add the dlc to the list, though it won't be installed immediately)
3- Close game, go back to steam, and press the download option, POE 2 should now show up there with the option to download, so just press the download button and it should install the DLC

This horribly Byzantine workaround is the only thing that worked for me, bless you friend.

Hope this helps

+ Right click on your PoE II game in Steam
+ Choose View Downloadable Content
+ Choose View Downloadable Content for this product down below the DLC tab
+ Click on DLC that you wish to download (It will start the game)
+ Now Exit the game
+ Go Download Tab in Steam and you should see PoE II is Scheduled to download
+ Press Download now and the DLC will be added to your game
+ Start up the game and in the Left corner you will see the Downloaded DLC's with tick marks
