old companions in PoE2

hi,

is it possible to have also mage and paladin from PoE1? i lost my saves and had to go with this weak history thing, so i have only Eder.

so with good save file is possible to have all 3 of them in party?

Yes with a save that has all three they will show up. You can just use the permade good save the game offers or build your own save and make the choices you want.

Aloth and Pallegina show up a bit later, you don't start with them like you do with Eder.

Aloth is in the Engiwthan ruins on the starter island, clear out all the enemies to get to him. Pallegina for me was in the Neketaka palace, but I think depending on her ending she can also be at the Brass Fortress in Neketaka.

Personally I'm happy durance is gone the only thing that sucks is they releaced him with an even worse character for this game. I cannot stand Xoti's voice.

I did have a question though, about picking your own choices. When I start a character I only get two options, either to import a save or pick one of the six pre-determined choices.

How do you actually go about manually picking every choice? I assume it's only available by importing a save file?

No, you can not edit save file data at all. You point the game at the save and have to hope for the best. You can not check which options it transfers and you can't edit.

Go to the main menu, then options, then "Set POE 1 stats". You can make a worldstate there. Then in the intro area it'll be at the bottom of the list after the preset worldstates.

They REALLY need to make that obvious in the main menu or give you an option to do it in the intro area.

Yeah I HATE that almost every rpg dose that. Just jump into the character creator please! Hate doing the intro 60 times when I realize I want to change something about my character...

hello, i looked for her in the brass citadel but couldn't find her, can you tell me where you found her?

For me she was in Neketaka Palace, the ending I chose for her had her go back to the Vailian Trading Company. In the palace is a cutscene where VTC and the other trading company are arguing with the queen. You can also get Maia there. I read someone found Pallegina at Brass Citadel because of their ending for her. *shrug*.

No Durance? Aww, was playing some PoE1 for the first time in ages last night and I was quite enjoying his crude introspection.

I don't mind Xoti, curious if you can romance her as a female though, I suspect no. |

Speaking of Aloth, I think he has a reference to another game based off of a chat I had with him, Bloodborne... some remote town, partaking of blood letting during a full moon... I thought it was amusing.
